We need your support to help us keep our services run!
The organisation provides real-time information on earthquakes to the public. EMSC teams work constantly on developing more rapid and efficient methods of earthquake detection.
We have made significant progress during the last years. We have extended our visibility, developed innovative scientific ideas and introduced the concept of Citizen Seismology within our community, where citizens are actors in their societies by helping us collect and share data to better inform the populations.
Thanks to our solid network (84 institute members in 55 countries worldwide) and your support, we are able to furnish accurate information, maintain all our infrastructures running and allow our collaborators to work on a daily basis within EMSC.
We are now the second worldwide reference website regarding earthquake information. As more and more people come and visit our website to learn more about real-time earthquake activities, we just learned that our internet provider has planned to increase our internet connexion costs from 7000 to 20000 € per year starting January 1st 2012.
In order to keep on diffusing information on our website and accompany our development and visibility, we need your financial support.
We remind you that our association has absolutely no commercial issue.
Your donation will help us pay our internet fees that are becoming more and more significant.
Support EMSC and contribute to keep your societies regularly informed!
